ABOUT ME.
Hi, My name is Maria! I am a biologist by education but a designer by passion. I have been doing freelance graphic design work for 4+ years. I mainly focus on creating branding, event marketing, event invites, and wedding stationery. Join me as I craft innovative designs.
I am also a User experience and product design student! My route is mostly self-taught and course-based. I am just getting started with learning Figma! So look out for more additions to my portfolio :)
STUDIO.
I primarily conduct my freelance work under the banner of RoseSlate Art Studio, my very own creative hub. While I occasionally showcase my offerings on external platforms like Etsy and Amazon, my focus predominantly revolves around client referrals.
PROCESS.
My Design process usually begins with understanding what the client wants. I like to go over their vision, preferences, and aesthetics.
I then create a rough vision/mood board for my ideas with different elements, colors, and designs.
I mainly create original designs using Canva because of the easy interface, however also utilize procreate to make original free forms or designs
I then prepare 2-3 drafts minimum for my clients to go over and discuss.
I implement the feedback into a final design and send it over to the client.
